Epica 2008 Results
This summarises the results of the 2008 Epica awards.
The film Epica d’Or was won by DDB London for the Volkswagen Polo “Dog” commercial produced by Independent, London, and directed by Noam Murro.
The press Epica d’Or was also won by DDB London with their new Marmite Snacks “LoveHate” campaign.
The outdoor Epica d’Or went to Lowe London for the John Lewis “Shadows” posters shot by Nadav Kander.
The interactive Epica d’Or was won by Great Works, Stockholm, for the Absolut Vodka “Absolut Machines” operation.
TBWA\Germany won the Integrated Campaigns category with the Absulut Vodka "In an Absolut World" campaign.
Germany topped Epica’s country ranking for the 4th year in a row with 12 winners; 49 silver and 36 bronze.
DDB Germany was the most successful agency in terms of total awards, but DDB London had the most winners (plus two grand prix).
DDB was the most successful agency network for the 4th consecutive year.
The winner of the special Turkcell Mobile Award will be announced before the Athens ceremony in January 2009.

The event will take place at the Megaron Concert Hall and will be hosted by +design, Greece's leading bimonthly magazine devoted to advertising, graphic, web and industrial design.

Epica Book and DVD
Full results of the year 2008 awards will be published in the 22nd annual Epica Book that all entrants will receive in August 2008. All the winners and finalists will be shown in the book, together with a selection of other shortlisted entries. All entrants will also receive a DVD showing the film winners and a good selection of film finalists.
