OUR 2016 PARTNERS
Epica would like to thank its 2016 partners, all of whom add a special contribution to the awards.
Euronews is a longstanding partner. This multilingual news channel – based in Lyon, France – delivers breaking news and analysis of worldwide events from a pan-European perspective, making it the perfect match for Paris-based Epica. Euronews also sponsors our Public Interest categories and offers free media space to the winning film, as chosen by our jury.
ACT Responsible co-sponsors the Public Interest categories. With an annual exhibition and prize in Cannes, ACT encourages and promotes campaigns for good causes. Many such ads can be seen on its website, act-responsible.org
Time Inc became an overall partner for the first time in 2016. As the only global creative prize judged by journalists, we’re extremely proud to be working with an iconic brand that stands for high-quality content. Along with Time magazine, its newsstand legends include Sports Illustrated, Travel + Leisure, Fortune, People, InStyle, Essence, Entertainment Weekly and Wallpaper*. It also runs LIFE.com, the photography website.
ScreenVision sponsors our Direction & Cinematography category. Based in the US, ScreenVision is a major cinema advertising network. But it’s also a premier cinema, video, and media organization that curates powerful and uncluttered storytelling for brands, exhibitors, and audiences.
RadiumOne (France) sponsors the Mobile Campaigns category. It is a global programmatic marketing company behind the software that automates media buying, making big data actionable for brand marketers.
Lürzer’s Archive, the creative resource for advertising professionals, is our partner for the Lürzer’s Archive/Epica Advertising Photography Award. Founded in 1984 by ad agency owner and copywriter Walter Lürzer, the Archive has 150,000 readers worldwide and a range of inspirational tools, including the Lürzer’s Archive 200 Best Specials, a website and apps for a number of devices, including iPhone and iPad.
AdForum is Epica’s sister company and, along with our jury members, helps us to ensure that our results are seen across the advertising and marketing community. AdForum is a provider of information and intelligence to advertising and marketing professionals – it also delivers creative inspiration via its archive of more than 90,000 advertisements.
Once again this year the amazing Sizzer Amsterdam will host the Epica after party. Sizzer are one of the world’s leading music agencies, based on the canals of Amsterdam. They work with a network of established composers and offbeat artists, combining experience with creativity. Sizzer partners with creative agencies and brands throughout Europe. Location doesn’t matter, but sharing a mutual ambition for the best, most stellar outcome does.
We are excited that Energy Floors will be installing a unique dance floor experience to make the after party truly epic. Energy Floors is a dynamic, impact driven company based in Rotterdam. With energy generating floors they raise awareness on renewable energy in an interactive and fun way. Their journey started in 2008, when they opened the first sustainable dance club in the world: Club WATT. This club in their hometown Rotterdam originated in the idea of integrating a sustainable vision – People, Planet, Party – into a club.
